Love Your Local Butcher Handicap Tips (Race 1)
Murray Bridge Next Best Bet - Race 1 No. 1 Dexter You Devil
Following a return in the Listed Christmas Handicap when finding the 1200m too sharp in a leader dominated affair, Dexter You Devil attempted the 1400m second-up on last Saturday's program and he was hard to miss in an eye-catching display from the rear.
Sustaining a long and wide run, this very consistent galloper didn't have any opposition taking him into the race, which adds more merit to the performance and although goes up a kilo without the claim, he's a proven weight carrier and trainer/jockey Shayne Cahill takes back the reins, who has been aboard for seven of his 11 career wins.
A stakes performer over his last few campaigns, this six-year-old has some class and stepping up to the mile on the seven day turnaround, does look very placed in the opener from Murray Bridge.

Apprentice Butcher's Maiden Plate Tips (Race 4)
Murray Bridge Roughie - Race 4 No. 1 Dexter You Devil
There are no standouts in this 1200m Maiden and although speculative at long odds for this debut appearance, his work has been sound via two hit-outs and trainer Kristi Evans is enjoying a good patch of form on this circuit, with four winners and five placings from her 15 starters at Murray Bridge this season.
By Zoffany and of a Monsun mare, this four-year-old is bred to get over more ground in time but was held together late when finding the line in a Strathalbyn jump-out on December 30 prior to leading over the 1050m at Oakbank on January 7, where she let Investiture take over late in the piece.
That McEvoy galloper has opened favourite in this event and was pushed out late to win that recent trial, so there looks a decent discrepancy in the market given there wasn't a whole lot between them and Ammo Amor was looked after late in the equal-fastest heat that morning.
Australian Meat Industry Council Handicap Tips (Race 5)
Murray Bridge Best Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Pindaric
By Fastnet Rock and out of a stakes-winning mare in Champagne Cath, Pindaric was still a work in progress over two runs in his first campaign but ability got him back-to-back victories where after saluting as our value selection at Balaklava, was freshened-up and sent to Morphettville for start two.
He didn't exactly have the favours in the September 12 victory over the 1200m when still looking a little green and racing three-wide throughout that journey, but still managed to pull away from them late for a comfortable margin on the line, things you just don't see all that often with such inexperienced gallopers.
Prepared by the local Michael Hickmott stable who's striking at 27.8% Murray Bridge this season, he teams up on Saturday with apprentice hoop Jessica Eaton, with this combination recording 16 winners so far this season at an excellent strike rate of 30.8%.
MBL Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Murray Bridge Value Bet - Race 6 No. 5 Mount Madeira
Formerly under the care of the Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young was this daughter of Redwood who was never in contention over this track and trip via her first run for the David Jolly yard, but with the blinkers going on, we saw much improved effort at Gawler on December 19 when back in trip.
Mount Madeira was racing in restricted room throughout the run home in that 1500m contest which as a result, never allowed her to find any momentum but found the line fairly for third and step back up to the 1800m this Saturday is a plus, as is the wider draw which gives apprentice Margaret Collett the room to build through her gears.
Although this is a little harder than that last tilt, her Benchmark 70 form in Victoria is okay for a race of this strength and plummeting to 51.5kg after the claim, she can wind-up down middle of this big Murray Bridge circuit late at a double figure quote
