Morphettville Favourite - Race 4 No. 7 Hallstatt
He showed promise early, having recorded a stylish start two win over this track/trip and the gelding was also competitive twice in Melbourne late via that first prep.
There were signs early last spring that Hallstatt was back on track, however, he failed to progress and he was given plenty of time ahead of his September return.
Hallstatt should've finished closer in that Class 2, as he was held-up at a key stage and he's now down in the weights second-up, while drawing out is no knock for him.

Morphettville Next Best Bet - Race 6 No. 3 Sasqualah
This is nice placement from Warrnambool trainer Symon Wilde, who crosses the border with this lightly raced five-year-old and she'll strip fitter from her most recent run.
Sasqualah was resuming off a decent freshen-up via that September 13 outing and it was effectively a barrier trial, with the mare ridden much colder than usual.
The daughter of Magnus overcame trouble and found the line strongly (second-fastest last 200m of the race) and she can settle closer from barrier one on Saturday.
Hahn Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Morphettville Best Bet - Race 7 No. 1 Air Assault
I suspect that he would've contested the Feehan Stakes had Pride Of Jenni and Mr Brightside not gone to that Group 2, but he'll still head to Melbourne at some stage.
He was a touch disappointing second-up on August 24 following a solid return effort, however, Air Assault third-up via a brave victory in the Listed Balaklava Cup.
As the clear class horse of this field, he's very well weighted with 57kg after the 3kg claim and apprentice hoop Taylor Johnstone will cross early from a wide barrier.

Morphettville Roughie - Race 8 No. 3 Enciphering
This Mick Huxtable-trained galloper didn't have much luck early in his second prep and while the plans didn't pan out, I suspect that they were looking at the South Australian Derby.
Enciphering dropped back to a Gawler BM58 for a kill in April, but he's much more talented than that and the four-year-old can work through the lower grades now.
1600m-2000m is likely his right range once he's fit, however, seven furlongs is a nice starting point for the spring and he has the class to measure up in a 0-64.

Morphettville Value Bet - Race 9 No. 15 Flambard
He looks one of the few horses in this race who might have some upside and Flambard was hard to miss first-up at Murray Bridge when getting home for fourth.
The son of Inference was still last at the 200m of that return attempt before getting off heels and balancing up, while Todd Pannell stays aboard for this second-up tilt.
Flambard will improve from this and come in to his own over a little further, although he can settle closer from barrier four in what looks a very winnable race.
