I'm not surprised that connections have thrown in a Caulfield Guineas nomination for this well-bred colt, who is really starting to furnish in his second campaign.
Goldrush Guru showed enough as a two-year-old despite always looking a prep or so away and he backed up a narrow maiden win to take out a Class 2 on September 7.
It's never easy for an early season three-year-old to take on older rivals at metro level and yet he handled it with ease, while second and third from that race aren't slouches.
Aig Security Handicap Tips (Race 4)
Morphettville Favourite - Race 4 No. 5 Lavish Thinker
The winning strike rate isn't flash, however, this is the easiest race that Lavish Thinker has seen since saluting in a Sale Maiden last year and that win was third-up.
He was only beaten by Star Vega in his last third-up attempt, a 75-rater who won a Saturday race in Melbourne last month and he's a few rungs above anything here.
The Phillip Stokes-trained galloper is still lightly raced for a five-year-old and off two solid Sandown runs to open the prep, he's well placed in a weak Adelaide affair.

Morphettville Roughie - Race 5 No. 1 Braveman'sgame
He showed potential in his first campaign, with the gelding atoning from a defeat as an odds-on fav early last season to win his next two outings at Morphettville.
Braveman'sgame is long odds on return due to a flop via his sole winter appearance in July, but he's been given time and a recent jump-out win was encouraging.
The experienced Todd Pannell found form on Wednesday with a winning double at Murray Bridge and off only one bad run, Braveman'sgame looks a forgotten horse here.

Morphettville Next Best Bet - Race 8 No. 8 Longer Route
Mick Huxtable only has a small team, but he generally has a good one in his yard and Longer Route is a progressive four-year-old who can work through the grades.
Fitness just gave out late first-up for the strong front-runner and he quickly atoned last Saturday when leading throughout, with that 0-62 rating well for the program.
The Parks circuit should suit Longer Route, who only carries 1kg more for a race that isn't much stronger than last week's and he draws well here in gate four.
Adelaide Galvanising Industries Handicap Tips (Race 9)
Morphettville Value Bet - Race 9 No. 14 Dyer
This Michael Hickmott-trained galloper landed good bets when saluting over this track/trip on debut, where he pulled out plenty late after taking up the running.
Although he was disappointing after that when contesting decent two-year-old race fresh in June, that short starting price vs Colmar (Group 3) winner has to be respected.
Going off that Murray Bridge performance, it's no surprise that blinkers go on to sharpen up Dyer and back to 1000m for what is only start three, he can bounce back.
