Morphettville Favourite - Race 3 No. Tibetan
Having recorded 19 winners together at an excellent strike rate of 30.6% over the last 12 months, the powerful combination of Michael Hickmott and Jessica Eaton team up again on Saturday with this son of Shocking, who does look ready to peak now third-up.
Given it was a leader-dominated 1400m on return, the first-up effort from Tibetan was terrific and then stepping straight to the 1800m on January 16, got back and although left flat-footed when the winner went for home, picked up again in the last 100m to grab second.
With that journey under the belt now, this gelding should strip a lot fitter for this Saturday's assignment and from barrier five in this small field, it should allow Jessica Eaton to keep off the fence and build momentum in the run for home.

Morphettville Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 2 Taken Off
After he was a tragedy beaten on December 19 in a very messy watch for his supporters, this five-year-old made amends with a comfortable victory last start where they finally put him into the race early, so this gelding does have some versatility.
Scratched from last Saturday's Gawler meeting, Taken Off has a few different challengers in this line-up courtesy of the Freedman runner Evening Glory crossing the border and the honest Heyington Station, but all things being equal, I suspect this gelding is more brilliant than those two.
A very lightly raced galloper with just the eight starts to his name and now they're getting him deeper into a campaign, he can go back-to-back on Saturday and with a low enough rating, is perhaps another that Phillip Stokes will take across to his Melbourne base soon.

Morphettville Value Bet - Race 8 No. 4 Grinzinger Star
This ex-Danny O'Brien galloper is now set to have his second start for new trainer Karen Byrnes following a first-up run over six furlongs at Murray Bridge, which was effectively no more than another barrier trial over a trip that was too sharp.
While the 1200m straight to 1600m is a little query, this is an easier race after taking on some handy sprinters there in Mystyko, Tequila Time and Fox Hall, who have all been thereabouts at Stakes level over various stages of their careers and Grinzinger Star did finish off fairly considering.
With a win and two placings (split Aussie Nugget and Vungers at his most recent) from four second-up attempts to date (worst a result a four-length defeat at Caulfield), this five-year-old could easily improve in this more suitable affair from a better draw.

Morphettville Best Bet - Race 9 No. 1 Bill The Bee
In a very weak 1600m contest to end the January 30 program from Morphettville, Bendigo trainer Kym Hahn looks to have placed this gelding perfectly in a bid for back-to-back victories following a tough Wangaratta effort with 63kg on his back.
Although that was admittedly a rather average event in itself, Think Music has bolted in either side of that run and with highlights that include a Benchmark 64 win at Moonee Valley along with a placing behind a multiple Group winner in Zoutori, Bill The Bee is clearly much better than Benchmark 58 class when right.
The son of So You Think is a little unlucky not to be shooting for a winning hat-trick here, as he was held-up at a key stage second-up at Stawell and drawn for galloping room on this big circuit where he'll roll forward, this is a perfect opportunity to record win number four.
