The Alabama Express gelding showed signs of ability in two starts for Peter Moody & Katherine Coleman in December including when seventh over 1300m at Seymour.
The youngster joined the Barry Lockwood stable subsequently and switched to a wet track he took a step forward in finishing runner-up at Beaudesert last month on his third career start.

The three-year-old has a good barrier in five here and with forecast underfoot conditions to suit is taken to break his maiden at the fifth attempt.

The four-year-old showed up well in finishing runner-up in both starts at three including when narrowly beaten over 1000m at Sunshine Coast last July.
The daughter of Hellbent made the perfect start to her four-year-old campaign when justifying short-priced favouritism over the same course and distance in February.
The pick came home two lengths clear of her nearest pursuer when racing on a sound surface that day and went on to complete a double in a Class 1 event next time.
The filly raced on the speed when racing on a soft 5 track over the same track and trip that day and she was freshened following that effort.
The selection arrives here on the back of a good two-and-a-half-length second in a 1200m Benchmark 70 handicap at Eagle Farm earlier this month.
The drop in grade is a positive here and she looks capable of returning to winning ways with the softer conditions expected here unlikely to pose an issue.

Ipswich Value Bet - Race 8 No. 3 I Am A Marvel
The son of Epaulette has four wins to his name with all four of those victories coming on wet surfaces.
Those triumph’s include a maiden success over 1100m when racing on a soft 5 track in March last year.
The selection’s sole start at this venue since saw him deliver a decent effort in finishing three-and-a-half-lengths fourth in a similar race to this in September.
The gelding went down by a narrow margin when runner-up at Doomben subsequently and he registered his most recent success when returning to Doomben earlier this month.
Robert Heathcote’s representative won by nearly one-and-a-half-lengths in a 1200m Benchmark 65 handicap on a heavy 8 track on that occasion.
The pick was slow to start when beaten two-and-a-half-lengths in a Benchmark 70 handicap on a good 4 surface at Eagle Farm subsequently and the return to a wet track is in his favour here.
Cobi Vitler’s two-kilogram claim is a further positive and jumping from barrier four he looks value to record his second course win.
Patron Tequila Benchmark 68 Handicap Tips (Race 10)

Chris & Corey Munce’s representative registered some good efforts in defeat over further prior to registering his first win of the season last prep.
Those efforts included a second and two fourth place finishes in Benchmark 68 handicap events held on good going at Eagle Farm in October and November.
The switch to a wet track was no issue with the gelding finishing fifth in a 1600m Benchmark 70 handicap at Doomben on his penultimate outing.
The seven-year-old’s jockey here Justin Huxtable rode for the first time when the gelding was dropped to 1350m for a Benchmark 68 handicap here in December.
The pick came home nearly three-and-a-half-lengths clear of his rivals when racing on a heavy 9 track that day finishing strongly that day and he was spelled following that success.
While the gelding drops in distance here he is often ridden cold and with a number of his rivals expected to want to go forward from the barriers, he is expected to have the race run to suit.
