Ipswich Roughie - Race 2 No. 1 Hang Out
The son of Alabama Express recorded a solid fourth-place finish when beaten just over four-and-a-half-lengths in a 1500m maiden at Muswellbrook when debuting in August.
The pick made his sole start for the Annabel Neasham & Rob Archibald team that day joining Tony & Maddysen Sears having been sold for $9,000 at the sales the following month.
Having trialled with a second at Toowoomba in November the selection went on to deliver a good second-place finish over 1400m at Gold Coast when resuming in December.
The youngster was beaten less than a length when racing on a soft 5 track that day and tackled a stronger-looking contest when down the field over 1600m at Eagle Farm two weeks later.
Andrew Mallyon is set to ride for the first time here and returning to maiden company and stepping up in distance he may prove up to breaking his maiden at the fourth attempt.

Ipswich Best Bet - Race 3 No. 6 Flame Tree Star
The filly broke through for her first win when successful over 1006m on a soft 5 track at Grafton in April last year.
Spelled following a third at the same venue later that month the daughter of Your Song has registered three good placed efforts from as many starts this prep.
Two of those have come at Murwillumbah including when beaten less than half-a-length into third when contesting a Class 1 handicap held on a good 3 track just over a month ago.
The selection jumped as favourite but met with interference at the start that day and she appeared to have no issues stepped up to 1265m when runner-up in a similar race at Ballina subsequently.
Angela Jones’ mount boasts a good barrier three from the rail while the step up in distance is expected to suit.
Matt Dunn’s filly is a consistent type and she looks capable of recording a win on her first start in Queensland.

Ipswich Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 3 Mr Galazi
A four-time winner from 23 starts the gelding has delivered some good efforts this prep including top three finishes at Sunshine Coast, Doomben and Eagle Farm.
The pick’s most recent top three finish saw him beaten less than half-a-length when placing third in a Benchmark 78 handicap at Doomben in November.
The gelding raced over 1110m on a soft 5 track that day and he was freshened following that effort which saw him jump at $17 in a twelve-horse field.
The selection showed up well for a long way prior to fading when finishing last of six, beaten just under three lengths in a 1000m Class 5 handicap at Sunshine Coast at the start of this month.
David Murphy’s representative has won both previous starts over this course and distance while he is a versatile type with regard to underfoot conditions.
An inside alley is a further positive here and he looks up to maintaining his unbeaten record at this venue.

Ipswich Favourite - Race 7 No. 4 Great Aspirations
The New Zealand-bred showed good form last prep including on a heavy 10 track at Sunshine Coast in February.
The pick’s second success saw him come home over a length clear of his rivals when contesting a 1200m Class 3 handicap at this venue the following month.
The gelding raced on a good 4 track that day and while unable to score in the interim registered an improved effort when runner-up at Warwick on his penultimate start.
The son of Savabeel was beaten two lengths into second over 1200m on that occasion with the fourth and fifth both winning next time.
The selection arrives here on the back of a mid-division finish in the valuable 1200m Magic Millions Country Cup held on a heavy 9 track at Gold Coast earlier this month.
The quicker ground expected here is no issue and stepping up in distance he looks value to break through for his first win of the season.
