A half-sister to three-time Group winner Amelie's Star, Investment found 1200m too sharp at metro level via her debut in a 100k Super Maiden, although she wasn't disgraced.
The three-year-old was spelled after that September outing and returning over 1400m at Newcastle, she produced solid return effort and that winner has since franked the form.
Investment also beat home Dunedin (subsequent winner) in that first-up run and she followed that with a second at Kembla Grange, while 1600m should suit off that last effort.

Gosford Best Bet - Race 2 No. 3 Reigning Captain
Connections have taken their time with Reigning Captain, a four-year-old who is set to debut off two lead-up trials and he won the last of those in good time for maiden class.
The son of Capitalist was first seen winning a Gosford trial on soft ground last winter, where he held off a useful Gardenzio before being narrowly defeated by a talented Magnatear.
These provincial only affairs often lack depth and this looks no exception from what we've seen of the raced brigade, while he does have tactical speed to offset barrier eight.

Gosford Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 4 Gulf Of Tomini
This gelding is bringing decent form back to a provincial BM64 and with three runs under his belt for the campaign, he has a decent fitness base for Thursday's 2100m attempt.
A galloper who is proven over this trip, Gulf Of Tomini caught the eye third-up at Eagle Farm when coming home from the rear to finish second behind an in-form A Deel Of Humour.
He was a month between runs going into that last outing, so he'll only strip fitter and that Brisbane effort followed a pair of placings, which includes a second on heavy ground.

Gosford Roughie - Race 7 No. 12 Lohnraki
It's quite a strong race for provincial BM64 standards and if the rain does fall ahead of the last at Gosford, then a market move for this five-year-old at longer odds wouldn't shock.
There's a strong tempo predicted in this 1000m dash and with most of the influences being early in their work, that could play into the hands of Lohnraki, who arrives third-up.
He's ticking over okay and comes out of a Hawkesbury race that produced Broadway Bouncer (won well last week), while all three career wins have come on rain affected ground.
