TAB BM68 Handicap Tips (Race 2)
Gatton Next Best Bet - Race 2 No. 6 Simply Fly
With Steph Thornton in the saddle and first-up off a nice trial, this Gelding looks suited in the 860m scamper.
With two wins next to his name over 870m and 800m, this race for a horse with natural early gate speed looks incredibly suitable.
Of course Gatton is a trick in itself with one of the main dangers having form at the track, but class is on this boy's side, last prep running around the likes of Kisukano and Acrobatic.
This is Stakes class that is being brought to this race that is expected to well and truely stand up.

Gatton Value Bet - Race 6 No. 6 Leica Special
This four-year-old mare is as consistent as they come, placing in five of her 10 starts including three of her last four.
She battles away off the pace and with barrier four here, she will settle just in behind the pace.
This is the first time she is being tested over the 1400m, which could suit, but she is just missing something in her racing where she lacks a killer punch, so the 1400m could be up her alley where she could slog it out at one pace.
She gets in light at the weights and with some fancied chances drawn wide, she can find herself somewhere in the finish if she can get the race run to suit.

Gatton Best Bet - Race 8 No. 9 Miss Barty
This three-year-old Filly looks a class above based on her recent form, with form around Mishani Miss in city grade two starts ago.
Last start she was seen at the Gold Coast, finishing third at around the $7 mark, only 2.75 lengths away from the winner Brazen Dynamo who looks to have ability.
She has never raced at Gatton before but finds a weaker race than she raced in last start, and gets the claim of Alex Patis.
The inside gate suits her forward racing pattern, as does the soft track where arguably her best form has come.
