This four-year-old is as consistent as you will get, finishing in the top two at her last eight starts, seen last start being beaten by the barest of margins at this track and trip.
She now comes back in class, gets a 3kg claim which gives her a lighter weight than she carried last start and finds herself in a small field which she should prove better than.
On ratings and not taking into account the mare's allowance, Spinning Spirit should be giving them 5kg, but in fact will be getting weight off of Sea Dragon and Tourmaster, and giving only 2.5kg to the bottom weight.
Her issue is that she does love to run second, but that last run would see her win this race comfortably.

This mare by the Cox Plate winning stallion Adelaide is building towards a win, finishing closer to the winner at each outing.
She now steps out in trip once again to 1800m and makes the trip to Queensland after racing in NSW.
Fu Ni has alrady been well backed in the early betting which is a positive sign that she is ready to win now in weaker company.
Trained by Kris Lees, he has placed this girl beautifully to win on Thursday.

Eagle Farm Value Bet - Race 7 No. 5 Mandeville Rocker
After winning first-up on a heavy deck at the Sunshine Coast last prep, this three-year-old struggled to measure up at Doomben and Ipswich.
He has had two trials to prepare him for this race today, the latest being okay on good ground, so I am not doubting his fitness levels.
The best performances for Mandeville Rocker are both on the track and at the trials have come on ground with a little give in it, so with some rain due tomorrow, this could be what he needs to bring him into the race.
He has already been backed in the early betting so I am expecting him to be somewhere in the finish.
