SKY RACING F&M BENCHMARK 68 Handicap Tips (Race 3)
Eagle Farm Best Bet - Race 3 No. 5 Scottish Mist
Her run was very good first-up at Doomben where she rattled home nicely from the back of the field to finish just a length from the winner.
Scottish Mist is a previous winner at Eagle Farm, so the track holds no worries, and has placed previously when second-up in her prep, so we know she will be thereabouts again.
Last preparation, she strung three wins together when third-up into her prep, but if anything can be taken out of the first-up effort this time in, she is a much fitter and improved galloper at present.
With some pace on, she can settle off the fence and from a midfield position, can be chiming in late.
XXXX DRY QTIS 3-Y-O Maiden Handicap Tips (Race 5)
Eagle Farm Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 5 Deep Sceiva
The three-year-old from the Rob Heathcote stable looks set to feature once again at her fourth career start, now second-up into her second preparation.
She kicked off the prep with a trial win before going under at the Sunshine Coast first-up as an odds on pop.
Today, Deep Sceiva will be in the black after burning punters last time, but she will have come on a lot from that effort and should appreciate the 1400m here.
This filly has been tried over the 1400m, only to fall short just under one length into fourth via a similar affair to what she finds here.

Eagle Farm Value Bet - Race 8 No. 1 Vendidit
He's already had early market support which isn't surprising, as we're expecting him to be peaking here third-up and over the mile after closing off well at the Sunshine Coast last start.
With champion hoop Michael Rodd taking the mount, this only adds to the confidence, as he should be able to get the son of Hinchinbrook rolling at the top of the straight.
Rodd can settle a lot closer than he did last start, around midfield from an inside gate, so that he is not having to do as much work.
Although Vendidit is five weeks between runs, he must be ticking over very nicely for the camp to step him up to the mile on Thursday.
