Eagle Farm Next Best Bet - Race 1 No. 12 Snow Valley
After being nailed on the line last start in a heart breaking finish, this mare looks perfectly placed to return to the winners circle dropping back to the 1000m.
A speedy mare out of the Steele Ryan yard, the daughter of Snitzel showed plenty of promise at the beginning of her career, winning her first three races in a row before being tested at Listed level.
Although she was dropped back in grade last preparation, she was constantly hampered by wet tracks last campaign and after finally finding some dry ground this time in, the five-year-old looked home for all money before she was nailed on the line by Pull Anchor at Doomben.
Drawn perfectly in barrier six with Ryan Maloney staying aboard, Snow Valley is perfectly drawn to land in the front, control the race and prove extremely hard to catch stepping back in trip.

Eagle Farm Value Bet - Race 3 No. 6 Plumaro
A frustrating mare out of the Kevin Kemp stable, Plumaro often needs everything to go her own way if she is to win, however, stepping out over 1800m at Doomben, she looks well placed to give an open race a red hot crack.
After an extremely unlucky run behind Purrfect Deal at Doomben where Georgina Cartwright was unable to find clear running room behind a wall of horses, the five-year-old mare made amends last start at the Gold Coast when recording an easy win from last.
Stepping out over 1800m where she has run first and second from her only two attempts, Jim Byrne takes the ride aboard the five-year-old mare by Spirit of Boom and looks likely to benefit off a strong speed up front.
Although she has failed to win at Eagle Farm from eight attempts, Plumaro gets her chance to capitalise from a favourable draw on Saturday and is a fantastic chance at each-way odds.

MAGIC MILLIONS SHOOT OUT Tips (Race 6)
Eagle Farm Best Bet - Race 6 No. 2 Ballistic Boy
This four-year-old has enjoyed consistent improvement over the last twelve months and finds the perfect race to stamp himself as a stayer of the future in the Shoot Out.
Offering a wild card to the Magic Millions Trophy on January 16, the Shoot Out has drawn a strong field of runners hoping to gain their spot in the lucrative race, however, none enter the race in better form than Chris Anderson's Ballistic Boy.
Coming off a magnificent winter carnival which culminated in taking out the Group 3 Rough Habit, the gelding by Smart Missile produced an enormous run first-up at Doomben over 1350m before recording consecutive victories over the mile.
Rock hard fit and stepping up to the 2200m, Ballistic Boy is perfectly drawn to enjoy a smother from barrier three and will be extremely hard to beat as the best bet of the day.
MAGIC MILLIONS THE BUFFERING (Race 8)
Eagle Farm Feature Tip - Race 8 No. 10 Desert Lord
After contesting Group racing throughout his career in Sydney when with the Hawkes stable, Desert Lord has thrived since arriving in Queensland and is drawn perfectly to take his record to three wins from four starts for David Vandyke.
After thrashing his opposition in near track record time at Eagle Farm over 1200m, the six-year-old gelding was narrowly beaten by cult hero The Harrovian over 1400m before once again winning at his next start.
Facing his stiffest test to date in Queensland, the son of High Chaparral gains the services of Ryan Maloney and after drawing perfectly in barrier eight, will be allowed to enjoy a quiet run in transit off the fence before unleashing his devastating turn of foot late.
A winner of five from 12 on dry tracks, Ryan Maloney will be able to bide his time before pressing the go button aboard Desert Lord and if he gains clear running room, will be very hard to hold out.
