This three-year-old was solid first-up here when well backed and beaten by Bleu Zebra, who has since won again.
He then went to the Sunshine Coast as an odds on favourite and did what he was expected to do with a comfortable victory/
Now coming back up to Saturday metro class, Azzareach looks in good shape and at peak fitness to once again be prevailing as the favourite.

Doomben Best Bet - Race 7 No. 6 Socialising
This girl is a winning machine, putting her sixth win on the board last start when beating a subsequent winner You Make Me Smile.
She now comes up in grade to an Open Handicap, but sits at the bottom of the weights which is always good for a horse with an explosive turn of foot.
Doomben is her pet track, and although she has not won beyond 1200m, her results were okay in stronger grade than what she faces here.
BRC LIKE NOWHERE ELSE IN BNE Class 6 Plate Tips (Race 9)
Doomben Value Bet - Race 9 No. 12 Ruuca
This gelding is very consistent, three starts back beating the even money favourite in this race, Garibaldi, and still getting a 3kg weight swing his way.
He was then outgunned when a drifting favourite in 85 class before running super behind Yao Dash and beating home The Astrologist, two horse that ran very well in the Magic Millions Cup.
With the form tied in around Garibaldi and the price discrepancy between the two, I am happy to be with Ruuca on an each-way basis.
