A three-year-old gelding out of the emerging Annabel Neasham yard, the son of Written Tycoon arguably should be unbeaten this preparation after going down by less-than-half-a-length in his first two runs before recording consecutive victories.

Drawn perfectly in barrier three, Ruddock looks as the natural leader in the race with next to no speed at all and gains the services of Jim Byrne in the process.

Ruddock will get all the favours from the front once again and as a gelding in tremendous form this preparation, will be very hard to catch as one of the best bets of the day.

Described as a gentleman by Bryan Guy, the three-year-old son of I Am Invincible settled beautifully behind the speed at the Gold Coast, presenting at the turn before powering away when asked by Maloney.

The form out of the race was somewhat franked when Reality, who finished second behind I Am Thirty with a massive gap back to third, finished a narrow second at its next start behind Boomnova.

Drawn perfectly in barrier five, I Am Thirty gains the services of Queensland’s premier rider Ryan Maloney and he'll be extremely hard to hold out.
