HELLBENT FIRST CROP AT MAGIC MILLIONS C,G&E Maiden Plate Tips (Race 2)
Doomben Roughie - Race 2 No. 11 Scottish Prince
Returning to the races for his second preparation after being gelded, Scottish Prince steps out first-up off a strong trial over 1200m.
After failing to show much in his first preparation when unplaced from four runs, the Pat Duff-trained three-year-old was gelded and has subsequently looked much more tractable at the trials.
Boosted by the key booking of Jim Byrne who rode him in the trial, he went straight to the front in the trial and was only bloused in the final strides by a horse who was strongly scrubbed up.
Drawn well in barrier three, Scottish Prince looks well wound up for his return and ideally from the front, he may be hard to catch fresh.

Doomben Value Bet - Race 3 No. 2 Superbowl Sunday
Drawn perfectly to lead from an inside alley, Superbowl Sunday looks very well placed in a race which he can dictate from the front.
With massive question marks over the distance for a few of his key opposition, the five-year-old gelding by Snitzel seems to have found his pet distance after being tried over further previously.
Boasting three wins and four placings from ten starts, the Chris Munce-trained gelding has been racing in terrific form this preparation, defeating Invincore at Ipswich before finishing on the heels of Baroda at the Gold Coast last start.
Larry Cassidy stays aboard and boasting a terrific partnership with the Munce stable, Superbowl Sunday looks to have all the favours from barrier one.

Doomben Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 1 Ruddock
He's dominated his last two starts from the front and Ruddock looks to get all the same favours once again on Wednesday.
A three-year-old gelding out of the emerging Annabel Neasham yard, the son of Written Tycoon arguably should be unbeaten this preparation after going down by less-than-half-a-length in his first two runs before recording consecutive victories.
Drawn perfectly in barrier three, Ruddock looks as the natural leader in the race with next to no speed at all and gains the services of Jim Byrne in the process.
Ruddock will get all the favours from the front once again and as a gelding in tremendous form this preparation, will be very hard to catch as one of the best bets of the day.

Doomben Best Bet - Race 6 No. 3 I Am Thirty
After an extremely impressive debut win, this Bryan & Daniel Guy-trained gelding can record consecutive victories at Doomben on Wednesday.
Described as a gentleman by Bryan Guy, the three-year-old son of I Am Invincible settled beautifully behind the speed at the Gold Coast, presenting at the turn before powering away when asked by Maloney.
The form out of the race was somewhat franked when Reality, who finished second behind I Am Thirty with a massive gap back to third, finished a narrow second at its next start behind Boomnova.
Drawn perfectly in barrier five, I Am Thirty gains the services of Queensland’s premier rider Ryan Maloney and he'll be extremely hard to hold out.
