Cranbourne Tips October 2
Rosemont Stud 3yo Maiden Plate Tips (Race 1)
Cranbourne Favourite - Race 1 No. 2 Champagne Tonight
She holds multiple nominations for later in the week, which could mean that connections are looking for a kinder draw with Champagne Tonight, who has gate eleven here.
The debutante has shown early speed in her lead-up work, which includes a September 10 jump-out win at Pakenham, so they may roll the dice in a weak maiden.
Champagne Tonight is very well bred, being closely related to Sky Cuddle, Champagne Cuddles and Violate, while it's no surprise to see the market find her early.

Cranbourne Value Bet - Race 5 No. 5 Marine Parade
This lightly raced six-year-old hasn't done much wrong since returning in mid-July, with the highlight coming two starts back when taking out a BM58 at Pakenham.
That winner (New York Scandal) has since franked the form in Adelaide, while Marine Parade has also been competitive in stronger company, which includes a last start fifth.
His Sale attempt on September 11 came in this grade, where the son of Ocean Park was eased back and ridden for luck, and Billy Egan now has barrier three at his disposal.

Cranbourne Best Bet - Race 7 No. 6 Furosshi
There was clearly an opinion of Furosshi, with the daughter of Street Boss thereabouts in stakes grade early last year before returning with three runs in her third prep.
While she placed twice in handy maidens, the four-year-old wasn't able to breakthrough until returning in March 2024 when saluting in a 1103m Kyneton maiden first-up.
Furosshi then failed at Caulfield, where she also suffered a bleed and fresh at Seymour on September 15, the mare was strong late as second behind a useful winner.

Cranbourne Next Best Bet - Race 8 No. 3 Gangitano
He does go up in the weights on Wednesday, however, Gangitano should find this BM64 easier than the BM70 that he returned in at Sale, where he covered ground.
Behind the likes of Dubenenko, Modown and Angland, the gelding wasn't disgraced in fifth and the winner of that race (Peace Treaty) saluted at Rosehill last Saturday.
He hasn't lived up to the early hype, although the four-year-old still won second-up in this grade last prep and that Echuca triumph was also recorded over this trip.
