It looks a more open race than the market indicates and a debutant at a double figure quote is Ricky Runs, a three-year-old who looks suited kicking off at seven furlongs.
He worked home well against experienced rivals via his first 800m jump-out at Sale and after a quieter hit-out at Traralgon, the gelding completed a stronger workout over 1200m.
The three-year-old finished third in that latest Pakenham showing, with experienced race winners filling the quinella and Ricky Runs jumps from gate five in Friday's assignment.

Cranbourne Best Bet - Race 3 No. 6 Russian Bobshark
From the same family as Turffontein (dual Group 1 winner) is this three-year-old first starter from the Ciaron Maher stable, and he arrives here off three jump-out victories.
Russian Bobshark has improved with every hit-out and his latest was arguably the sharpest, where he went past a useful Impagethree Girl (won two) without being knocked around.
All six of his rivals in that Ballarat jump-out field were race winners, while jockey John Allen coming from Geelong's day meeting for one Cranbourne engagement is a decent lead.
Ladbrokes Odds Surge BM64 Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Cranbourne Value Bet - Race 6 No. 8 Jekyll'n'hyde
This seven-year-old is prepping up for a jumping campaign, having won a maiden hurdle last August, but he could easily pick off a BM64 on the way through going off current form.
After covering ground and sticking on first-up at Kyneton, Jekyll'n'hyde was up in grade via a Sandown BM64 last start over 2400m and he did hit the fairly in that second-up tilt.
This is a little easier, as he's stepping back from metro company and along with 2600m being ideal at this stage of the prep, he's also capable of settling closer from gate three.

She's each-way odds going off two quiet jump-outs, however, heading straight to 1300m fresh in a maiden vs her own sex suggests there's at least some intent with Hey Bella first-up.
This isn't a vintage maiden line-up and in two runs over her first prep, the three-year-old showed as much as any of these, which included a debut third when racing in restricted room.
Hey Bella was then set a huge task at Sale, but she did make inroads late with a wide run from the rear via that December 23 event and four winners have come out of that race.
