Caulfield Next Best Bet - Race 1 No. 11 Rich Dottie
She's a very well bred two-year-old, being by Written Tycoon and out of a half-sister to Argentia, with her grandam being Princess Coup, who was a four-time Group 1 winner.
Rich Dottie has shown potential in three of her jump-outs and after being given time to mature after a sole hit-out last November, the Grahame Begg-trained filly is ready to race.
She was super impressive via her latest jump-out win at Cranbourne, where Rich Dottie put away an 800m heat with little effort and she has the tactical speed to use barrier one early.

Caulfield Value Bet - Race 4 No. 9 Excess
Although she was well beaten last start in a Listed affair taken out by a smart Estriella, we always have to be wary of a galloper who drops this far in grade, especially a leader.
A full sister to dual Group winner Lofty Strike, Excess had performed fairly prior to that when contesting a decent BM64 at Cranbourne and coming back to 1000m here is another tick.
Her record suggests that she's not up to stakes level, however, her three worst runs have all been up the Flemington straight, while she hasn't missed the top two in three tries around a bend.
Ive > Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Caulfield Best Bet - Race 6 No. 5 Light Wish
This three-year-old justified an odds-on quote via her debut appearance at Cranbourne, where she won a 1000m maiden by five lengths and that race rated well for the March 9 card.
Her five furlong maiden went more than five lengths faster overall than the BM64 which was contested on that Cranbourne program and that bodes well for Light Wish in a fillies BM64.
While there's decent form lines through some of her rivals, who are more seasoned, Light Wish does look above average and she only needs to hold her form to be saluting again.
Stow Storage Solutions Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Caulfield Roughie - Race 7 No. 4 Albanian I Am
We were with Albanian I Am at a double figure quote when he triumphed in a three-year-old Saturday handicap at the back end of last season and he was spelled after that win.
Following a straight track blowout on return, he was then unlucky via a Moonee Valley BM70 before stepping up in grade to a BM80 and performing admirably at Caulfield.
He was tipped out after a plain Geelong showing and the gelding is building towards another win, with good runs either side of a second-up flop this prep, which includes a last start second.
