Caulfield Tips for January 13
Neds Blended Multis Handicap Tips (Race 5)
Caulfield Best Bet - Race 5 No. 5 Evie Girl
Talk about a mare in form, this girl has won two of her last four, with the two misses being second placings.
She was a Maiden winner at Moonee Valley three back before finishing runner-up in a Class 1 at the same track and trip.
Evie Girl was a last start winner at Mornington, saluting in the last few strides over 2015m, where now she comes back to the 1800m and goes up in class.
Noel Callow retains the ride and from an inside gate, will just need clear air at the top of the straight to be hard to hold out yet again.

Neds Bet Back Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Caulfield Value Bet - Race 6 No. 2 Miss Starway
This mare has been in terrific form this prep, winning at Moe three back before finishing off hard at Flemington to go down by 3.5 lengths in 78 grade.
Again, she put in a great performance at Caulfield last start when grabbing fourth in a Benchmark 70 against her own sex.
Miss Starway comes back in class once again to a 64 where she looks well suited with 59kg thanks to the claim of Matt Cartwright.
In what is a very open race, we are happy to stick with the in-form mare who's well placed back to this level.

Neds Split Multis Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Caulfield Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 9 Charleise
She was ridden out in her most recent jumpout at Terang, which should have her ready to fire as she usually does first-up.
Charleise has won twice and placed once from three first-up attempts, so this is the time of the prep where punters can catch her.
The daughter of Foxwedge a winner over Hidden Legend and Fundraiser first-up last prep and both of those horses have been subsequent winners.
A consistent city grade mare when at her best, she has the services of Mark Zahra for this fresh attempt and from barrier five, they should be able to settle close to the speed.
