Canterbury Best Bet - Race 4 No. 3 Allapercanto
She's been a very consistent galloper, with the Team Hawkes filly having only finished out of the money once in eight starts and that miss came via Listed Bendigo Guineas.
While Allapercanto had some excuses in that defeat, she's relished the drop back in grade via her last two and that includes a comfortable last start triumph when at Class 1 level.
She back up to metro level on Wednesday, however, the three-year-old ran the fastest last 400m of the Randwick-Kensington card on April 25 and she's against her own sex here.

Canterbury Value Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Sailor
Apprentice jockey Ben Osmond will be keen to atone aboard Sailor, an Australian Bloodstock galloper who was unlucky when attempting to go back-to-back on April 24.
Osmond waited a little too long to blend into that Newcastle event and a result, he was kept in a pocket a key stage in the straight, while he's completed a trial since that outing.
There is more depth to this metro BM72, although he was building towards a race like this before that forgivable last start attempt and he has a fitness edge on some key rivals.

Canterbury Roughie - Race 6 No. 7 Sweet Ruby
This Kim Waugh-trained galloper is big odds due to a last start Midway flop on heavy ground, however, she can improve from that third-up defeat, especially on a firmer track.
Along with contesting stakes races, Sweet Ruby as been thereabouts in stronger metro events, which includes a competitive fourth in a BM78 at Randwick a few preps back.
After contesting a Provincial Qualifier first-up, it was an improved showing at Canterbury two starts back and she should've finished closer there (held-up from the 350m to the 100m).
Native Trail @ Darley Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Canterbury Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 7 Frankly Elegant
While it appeared a disappointing run to the eye, the four-year-old was second-up off a long break two starts back when in the market and she lacked a turn-of-foot there.
Stepping from 1400m to 1800m suited Frankly Elegant third-up on May 15, where the daughter of Frankel dug deep to prevail and that was after racing three-wide throughout.
Being only at start nine overall and just fourth-up for the prep, she should be able to at least hold that form at Canterbury on Wednesday, with the extra 100m being another positive.
