He returned as a gelding at BM88 level on March 30 and it was eye-catching display from the four-year-old, who was only able to balance up late after settling off the speed in that fresh tilt.
Hollywood Hero recorded the second fastest last 200m of that Rosehill event and along with a drop in grade being in his favour on Wednesday, the rise in trip is another tick.
Although he goes up in the weights in this BM78, the son of Sacred Falls carried this same 60kg impost when saluting second-up last prep and he now gets the services of J-Mac.

Canterbury Value Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Casual Connection
An honest galloper from the John Sargent stable, Casual Connection has been ticking over fairly well in two runs so far this campaign and he's suited out to 1900m now third-up.
In a sit/sprint over 1400m fresh, he couldn't have done anymore after being dragged back from a wide alley and the gelding improved off that with a fourth at Randwick-Kensington.
He ran the fastest last 600m and 400m of that second-up event and now down in grade, where he gets good relief after the 3kg claim of Molly Bourke, they can settle closer from gate three.

Canterbury Roughie - Race 6 No. 10 Yiska
A sprinter who showed potential early when opening his account with a winning hat-trick in Queensland, Yiska was off the scene for almost 12 months after a sole autumn run last year.
He was ridden cold from a wide draw when returning at Warwick Farm, where he was held up until the 100m before getting home strongly (fastest last 600m and 400m of the card).
The son of Smart Missile was a touch flat when stepping to 1200m second-up, although it was still a pass mark behind a dominant winner and he'll only strip fitter from that outing.

Canterbury Next Best Bet - Race 8 No. 16 Rhettara
This Godolphin galloper is closely related to Alizee and Astern (Group 1 winners) and after suffering a bleed at start three last October, the four-year-old resumes here off three trials.
Rhettara was an even money fav in a Gosford BM64 which was taken out by Eagles Nest, who won her next two in town, while this mare arrived to that off an arrogant first-up victory.
She's had excuses in both defeats (slow recovery on debut) and down in the weights via what looks a winnable race against her own sex, Rhettara is well placed on Wednesday.
