Bendigo Value Bet - Race 3 No. 11 Let Her Rain
Trainer Melody Cunningham has had a couple of winners in recent weeks and her representative here looks value to deliver a victory on her turf debut.
Let Her Rain showed up well when making her debut in a 1000m maiden at Ballarat Synthetic last month and the form of that race looks decent enough with the winner, fourth and fifth all finishing runner-up next time out.
Those efforts include a second for the winner Zequel in a Benchmark 58 event back at Ballarat Synthetic on Tuesday.
While untested on wet tracks, her last three jump-outs ahead of her debut were on all turf tracks and she showed ability in each workout.
With improvement expected, she's decent value to make her first start on the turf a winning one.

Bendigo Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 5 Lovetta
The filly showed a liking for this venue when breaking her maiden in a 1000m contest in June last year.
The three-year-old finished strongly on that occasion and appeared to revel in the wet conditions with the official going a Heavy 8.
Lovetta encountered quicker ground when delivering a runner-up finish in a Benchmark 64 level in at Mornington last September.
Her final run of 2022 saw her outclassed in the Group 3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield after which she was spelled having finished last of 14.
Trained by Anthony & Sam Freedman. the daughter of Lonhro should have no issues dropping back in trip and returning to a heavy track also suits.

Bendigo Best Bet - Race 7 No. 2 Kiss Me If You Can
The gelding ticks plenty of boxes here, with the confirmed wet track performer having shown good form over this distance and at this venue in the past.
Trained by Hanna Powell, Kiss Me If You Can hasn’t been beaten far in his three starts so far and is shaped as a win was nearing when third in a similar race to this over the track/trip on June 29.
The six-year-old has shown good form at metro level in the past, including when runner-up on a Heavy 10 over 1420m at Flemington last September.
Hannah Le Blanc takes a valuable two kilograms off, while there’s a possibility that the selection may be granted an easy lead by his rivals here.
He's failed to finish outside the first three in five starts at this venue to date and with a good draw, he'll get every chance on Thursday.

Bendigo Roughie - Race 8 No. 8 The Herald
The four-year-old showed he appreciates wet tracks in 2022 when winning a maiden on a Heavy 8 at Nowra.
The gelding subsequently cemented his love for wet surfaces when beaten by a maximum of two lengths in three subsequent outings on heavy going.
The final one of those saw him draw a six-and-a-half length victory in a Class 1 contest on a Heavy 10 at Albury in November.
While that effort came over 1600m, The Herald had performed well over 1400m when half-a-length third in a Class 1 handicap at Wagga before that.
The return to a heavy surface is in his favour and Mitchell Beer’s gelding can outperform his starting price in the last.
