We were with this Grant & Alana Williams-trained filly on debut at Bunbury, where she backed up a nice lead-up trial to win comfortably under William Pike, who stays aboard for start two.

The three-year-old led throughout to score in a November 16 maiden that has produced two subsequent winners, including Bonny Rock (runner-up) who won easily at Pinjarra on Sunday.

Bonny Rock had strong form as a two-year-old, which included a second behind Investmentstrategy (dual-listed winner this prep) and from gate one, Lost City should be on the speed once again.

Belmont Value Bet - Race 4 No. 3 Wolfman

He has another wide draw to overcome, however, that has been factored into the price for Wolfman, a galloper who is going as well as most of these and the mile should suit now third-up.

The gelding was only a few strides off saluting fresh at a big quote and then staying at seven furlongs, he proved that return was no fluke second-up when sustaining a long and wide run.

Wolfman has shown enough tactical versatility, so while a cold ride could be on the cards again given the barrier, there's an option to push forward given the lack of speed on paper in this field.

Belmont Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 3 Manhattan Strip

It was somewhat of a frustrating first prep for connections, as Manhattan Strip showed potential in four outings without finishing in the money, but he did progress nicely in his second campaign.

He was able to record two victories over autumn/winter, which included a third-up breakthrough over 1400m and two starts later, he bolted in with a Northam Class 3 when stepping to a mile.

Manhattan Strip has been sound in this prep, with an eye-catching return backed up by a luckless second-up attempt, while coming back in grade and going up in trip are two positives here.

Morley Growers Market Handicap Tips (Race 7)

Belmont Favourite - Race 7 No. 5 Nod And Smile

I felt the William Pike factor would have seen this four-year-old open as fav in the last from Belmont, with the Summer Dickson-trained galloper currently on the second line of betting.

With a kinder draw, Nod And Smile would've saluted first-up over 1300m last prep and the son of My Admiration quickly atoned for that loss when absolutely bolting in second-up at Pinjarra.

Wide gates then plagued him in a few metro tilts before failing on a Heavy 8 when stepping up to 2000m and given he may be more effective as a miler this time in, resuming at 1400m is fine.
