Stepping to the mile off a strong third-up effort and arriving to this extra journey now hard-fit, this five-year-old won't get a better chance to bring up win five.

Despite saluting over 1400m on debut, there was money for him over 1200m first-up in Feb and while those bets weren't landed, he certainly lost no admirers.

Secret Deploy rattled home to record easily the fastest last 600m of that race (34.85) and was tipped out following two teasing efforts over 1400m and 1600m.

Adam Durrant has given the striking grey some time and going straight to seven furlongs off a solid trial, he's at least a price here compared to recent quotes.

Belmont Oaks Tips (Race 5)

Belmont Feature Bet - Race 5 No. 1 Searchin' Roc's

Her only attempt past the mile was via the 1800m of the Group 1 Kingston Town Classic, where although outclassed, she was far from disgraced in that feature.

Searchin' Roc's has been steadily building this prep, with a narrow third-up miss over the 1600m of the Belmont Guineas indicating a peak run was nearing.

The 2000m is a query for all bar Mystery Moment, but at set weights against the fillies and with a little more improvement to come, she should be too classy.

This mare was kept in a pocket by the eventual runner-up (Sneaky Chance) at a key stage in her first-up attempt and from there she was racing in restricted room,

She wasn't beaten far under the circumstances and despite another wide draw here, covering ground over the 1000m at Belmont isn't the end of the world.

With five wins and three placings from 15 starts, Strathmore Rose has put together a handy record so far and this drop in grade second-up is good placement.

Belmont is one of two circuits in Perth used for the main racing in Western Australia and it generally hosts two meetings a week thoughout their designated period.

Belmont is the winter circuit and they split the Perth Races with Ascot who take over in the warmer months.
