TABTOUCH BETTER YOUR BET PLATE Tips (Race 2)
Belmont Value Bet - Race 2 No. 9 Oh Sophia
While this two-year-old is still a work in progress, she clearly has ability and is arriving here for start three, resuming with midfield finish on June 13 when making many lengths from the rear despite a slow getaway.
Tipped out after racing greenly when a well beaten third behind a dominant Storm Whisper (narrowly missed in his next two starts, the last at Listed level) back in December, Oh Sophia was understandably given plenty of time and had two trials ahead of her recent return.
The key will be for Jason Whiting to get this filly into a rhythm earlier on Saturday now getting a more suitable trip of 1200m and there's been a key change in an attempt to settle her, with the pre-race ear muffs going on.
AMELIA PARK HANDICAP Tips (Race 4)
Belmont Best Bet - Race 4 No. 3 Zaratite
Unless this Bob Peters gelding completely hits the wall second-up off a long spell, he simply looks too classy in this 1650m affair, albeit he will likely step up in distance following Saturday's attempt.
In two preparations over 2019, Zaratite was progressing nicely and managed to record a winning hat-trick that winter (all on soft tracks) and would've easily have made in four in a row if he wasn't trapped three-wide following that.
The son of Animal Kingdom was brave first-up behind Naughty By Nature who franked that form by winning a Group Three at her next start, and the space between runs here isn't a surprise (prior successful pattern).
ALL FLAGS SIGNS AND BANNERS HANDICAP Tips (Race 10)
Belmont Value Bet - Race 10 No. 1 Costa Del Santo
This gelding was cricket score odds for a 1300m resumption off a 12-month spell and he's gone enormous after a tardy getaway, sustaining a big run from the rear via that June 26 event.
Recording easily the fastest last 600m of that race and spotting weight to every rival in that field, Costa Del Santo is better suited up to 1400m now and he was a second-up winner last campaign.
Although he will likely get back in the run early, Mitchell Pateman stays aboard this five-year-old who finds a slightly easier task than the fresh tilt and there does look to be plenty of speed on paper.
WESTERN RACEPIX HANDICAP Tips (Race 11)
Belmont Next Best Bet - Race 11 No. 7 Eeyore Wayz
Admittedly it was somewhat of a messy race behind Nerodio fresh, although it was hard not to be impressed with the return of this gelding who was strong late, especially after the line in what was a handy sprint field.
Three of his four wins have come at Belmont which were recorded last winter in what was a long second racing preparation, so now with four runs under his belt and on the back-up, he should be at his top now.
Eeyore Wayz has the ability to sprint sharply off any tempo and with the blinkers on for a suitable drop in trip, this is his chance after running into Nerodio and Amasenus before that step up in grade last Saturday.
