Race 5 No. 6 Admire The Girl
She didn't beat much via a Pinjarra breakthrough first-up, but it was the confidence booster that Admire The Girl needed.
The Jason Miller-trained filly arrived to that April 25 return off an impressive trial win and she did show ability in her first campaign.
While the start three effort was a head scratcher (end of prep run?), Admire The Girl did place in her first two outings last spring.
Getting 1200m second-up suits this three-year-old and in a midweek Class 1 that lacks depth, she can go on with it on Wednesday.

Race 4 No. 9 Pacific Lady
While she had to settle for a fourth-of-eight finish as a beaten fav, there was still some merit to the Narrogin resumption.
Pacific Lady failed at Ascot following her fresh assignment, although it's worth noting that she has no second-up form to her name.
It was an improved performance when contesting a straight-track sprint at Pinjarra last start, where the mare was held-up at key stages.
She wouldn't have beaten Masamune, but Pacific Lady should've run a clear second to a galloper who has been competitive in stakes company.

Race 6 No. 8 Cable Rock
His winning strike-rate isn't flash, however, Cable Rock is often thereabouts and the four-year-old has been competitive in all four runs this campaign.
