Murray Bridge Horse Racing Tips 4th March 2020

Murray Bridge hosts seven races on what is a very competitive card of racing.

The track will race in the good range so we should be seeing a fair day of racing.

Our best of the day comes in the last race while a horse from the McEvoy stable looks hard to go past in the fourth.

Murray Bridge Best Bet

Race 7 No. 2 Desidero

Backing up from Saturday's performance behind the promising Farooq, he looks well placed to be winning this event.

Jason Holder jumps back aboard from gate eight and should have a cozy run over the 1400m.

He does drop back to the seven furlongs from the mile which I think will suit on that quick back up.

Earlier in February, he was on the quick back up as well, the latter run finishing fourth in a strong race, beaten a length, so we can gather that he does love it.

If he can handle this second back up within a month, he has the ability to be winning a race of this quality and is the deserved best bet of the Murray Bridge program.

Murray Bridge Next Best Bet

Race 4 No. 6 Gede

This 3YO gelding was good first up for the McEvoy stable in maiden company at Gawler over 1200m, making up late ground to pinch third spot.

He takes a step up to 1400m which looks a positive for the son of Written Tycoon, and strikes what looks a moderate race.

Barrier 12 probably forces jockey Todd Pannell to ride back on him and hope to swoop over the extra 200m.

The big field scenario suits this horse, with a bit of pace likely, he will have his chance to come home hard and is therefore our next best bet of the day at Murray Bridge.
