Ipswich Tips October 28

NEW SPORTS BAR COCKTAILS Maiden Handicap Tips (Race 1)

Ipswich Value Bet - Race 1 No. 11 Nashwah

Nashwah has been building beautifully in her three career runs to date and looks well placed stepping out over the mile for the first time.

Set to carry 52.5kg following Georgina Cartwright's claim, the Tony Gollan-trained Toronado filly has been building beautifully, running consistently well over trips short of her best distance.

In her latest start over 1350m at Ipswich, Cartwright took Nashwah forward to sit outside the leader, and although she was brave holding onto fourth, she wasn't suited off a sit and sprint tempo.

Drawn to push forward once again from barrier nine and being a daughter of Toronado, Nashwah will thrive stepping out over the mile for the first time and looks well placed to breakthrough.

BARN FAMILY RESTAURANT Class 4 Handicap Tips (Race 3)

Ipswich Next Best Bet - Race 3 No. 3 Don't Waiver

Don't Waiver returned in fantastic fashion over this track and trip to narrowly go down behind Phionax and looks well placed to return to the winners circle aided by a wet track.

Having seen heavy conditions only once in his career, the four-year-old Not a Single Doubt gelding revelled in the conditions, recording a dominant victory by over two-lengths eased down.

Showing fantastic gate speed from barrier one last start to sit outside the leader, first-up James Orman stays aboard the Stuart Kendrick trained gelding and can once again take a prominant position in running from barrier two.

Drawn to land either land in the lead or in the box seat, Don't Waiver will relish the wet conditions on offer at Ipswich this Wednesday.

TAB VENUE MODE QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate (Race 5)

Ipswich Best Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Camerlengo

*Camerlengo has been scratched from Race 5 at Ipswich

IEEC.COM.AU Colts, Geldings and Entires Class 2 Handicap Tips (Race 6)

Ipswich Favourite - Race 6 No. 7 Hidden Hail

After throwing away certain victory first-up at the Sunshine Coast, Hidden Hail made amends to record a dominant victory over this track and trip last start.

Pinging the gates to jump straight to the lead that day, the four-year-old gelding by Hidden Dragon never looked in doubt, railing like a greyhound to record a dominant victory by just under three-lengths.

The clock also backed up the visually impressive win by the Barry Lockwood trained gelding, recording a better time on the day than the Benchmark 68.

Set to take up the lead once again, Hidden Hail looks perfectly placed to record consecutive victories in the sixth from Ipswich.

Camerlengo should be winning races in Queensland and has trialled well ahead of his debut for the Heinrich yard in Race 5.

Don't Waiver (Race 3) returned well and won his only other heavy track outing by a big space.

Nashway is a good each-way chance in the opener over a more suitable trip.
