The fav is well found at $1.60 and on an each-way basis, this Waller colt makes appeal, a galloper that could've won a Caulfield Guineas from a better gate
With bigger targets in mind, there was no intent aboard Osipenko in the Eskimo Prince Stakes, who was just there to go around and find the line late.
From gate one over seven furlongs, there's no need to be so far back on settling, especially as he was able to use inside draws last winter over these trips.

2023 Hobartville Stakes Value Bet - Magic
After an eye-catching second on debut behind Best Of Bordeaux, he looked a long-range spring player with a Caulfield Guineas/Golden Rose in mind.
Unfortunately, Magic never progressed in his second campaign and as a result, this well-bred Team Hawkes runner returns to racing as a gelding.
This aggressive fresh placement is interesting, given he's a maiden with a rating of 70 and now doesn't have the pressure to build a stallion's resume.
His lead-up trials have been okay (second hit-out an improvement) and he hasn't been hidden, so could be one for the multiples/exotics at a big price.
