This unbeaten mare is the Oakleigh Plate favourite for a reason and that is because she has speed to burn.

Marabi is two from two at The Valley and is unbeaten in three starts over 1200m, although she is yet to feel a high pressure 1200m like she is going to get here, so that is the unknown.

From a soft dra and Ben Allen aboard who knows the mare well, this is her acid test, but times do not lie and they say she is a Group One winner in the making.

I liked his Pakenham jumpouts and now as three-year-old against the older horses, a sprint trip may be one that suits.

Lightsaber was a length from Bruckner and Artorius last preparation over this trip, who both placed to Home Affairs in the Coolmore Stud Stakes, so that is red hot form.

Last year's winner comes back to attempt a second subsequent win in the event and if his jumpouts are anything to go by, he is flying.

He beat rival Sinawaan in a Mornington jumpout and I think should be ahead of him in the market here, seeing as that rival will likely need further.
