Worth $300,000, this feature is a key WFA autumn lead-up and there's a strong honor roll, with Winx, Lonhro, Sunline and Anamoe among the champions to have won the Apollo Stakes this century.
Fangirl heads the early market with Ladbrokes for the 2024 Apollo Stakes, with $2.30 the quote for the favourite.

2024 Apollo Stakes Best Bet - Militarize
While it was an unlucky showing when contesting the Cox Plate at the end of his spring campaign, that experience against older rivals will hold the colt in good stead.
Also, the jury might be out on Militarize over those longer journeys, especially given how keen he was in the run at The Valley, although he was an early season three-year-old.
Resuming at 1400m gives him a genuine sniff first-up and while the son of Dundeel has never been the best trialler, his most recent work was an improvement off prior lead-up trials.
The blinkers went on in the last of those outings and the seven furlong trip has brought about arguably his two best wins, with the last of those a slashing victory in the Golden Rose.
On firm ground, the Chris Waller-trained colt might just lack the brilliance to roll Fangirl, however, rain is predicted on Thursday and Friday, and that forecast favours Militarize.
Another galloper who won't mind sting out of the surface is Buckaroo, a two-time Listed in Europe who joined the Chris Waller stable ahead of last year's Spring Carnival.
The ex-Joseph O'Brien-trained entire made some inroads from off the speed when finishing midfield in the Group 1 King Charles III Stakes on Australian debut in October.
A wide run and early move left him vulnerable at end of 2000m when rounding out the prep via the Champions Stakes at Flemington, although it was still a decent effort.
European imports often improve in their second Australian campaign as they become more acclimatized and Buckaroo was sharp in his first summer trial on January 26.
All of his winning form in Europe was in the 1600m-1700m range and while his last trial was quiet, the blinkers weren't on for that workout and they're reapplied for race day.
