Thousand Guineas runner-up Elusive Express is the outright favourite for the 2021 VRC Oaks, looking a genuine staying filly in the making, but not going into the race through the Wakeful Stakes. She has drawn barrier eight.
Wakeful Stakes winner Willowy (barrier two) sits second in the betting after showing a remarkable turn of foot to win. Will she stay the trip?
Daisies (barrier six) looked to have the Wakeful shot to pieces, but is one who will be very well suited up in trip to the 2500m.
Biscayne Bay is the only other runner in single figures, who will jump from barrier three for jockey Hugh Bowman.
