The Tattersall's Tiara is the final Group 1 of the season and a big field has been assembled for this 1400m fillies and mares feature, which is run under weight-for-age conditions at Eagle Farm.
Consistent three-year-old Opal Ridge (barrier 6) bounced back to winning form with a stylish victory over the Scone Carnival and was unlucky not to record back-to-back wins, with the daughter of Rubick finishing second after a wide run in the Dane Ripper Stakes.
That June 10 performance was her first Queensland start and she has already ticked the 1400m box, so there will be confidence heading into this.
Ruthless Dame (barrier 19) won her first Group 1 at only start six when taking out the Robert Sangster Stakes in Adelaide and there was merit to her Stradbroke Handicap effort, where she finished fifth after a slow getaway.
Maher & Eustace also prepare She's All Class (barrier 12), who arrives off a fourth-place finish in the Dane Ripper Stakes, with that June 10 event taken out by Comrade Rosa (barrier 5).
The daughter of Capitalist has recorded four wins and two placings in six starts for new trainer Tony Gollan.
Chris Waller has accepted with Kiku, Roots and Brookspire, with the latter being the first emergency for this Group 1.
Chaillot (barrier 11) brings strong form lines back to fillies and mares company, with the six-year-old beaten under two lengths behind Think About It in the Group 1 Kingsford-Smith Cup and she was first-up in that May 27 outing.
Foxy Frida (barrier 20) is in fine form ahead of her first Group 1 attempt, winning three of four starts this campaign and that includes a Queensland debut triumph on June 3.
17 runners (plus five emergencies) make up the final field for the 2023 Tatts Tiara.

Tattersall's Tiara Winners
The Tattersall's was first run in 1989 and is a somewhat 'fresh' event to the Queensland racing calendar, given the other majors date much further back.
The race has been run over 1500m for much of its history, but in 2007 was introduced with a new distance of 1400m.
A fillies and mares event under WFA conditions, the Tatt's Tiara is the final Group 1 of the Australian racing season, with the first Group 1 of the new season contested in late August.
Invincibella (2019), Tofane (2021) and Startantes (2022) have won the last three editions of the Tattersall's Tiara, which was not held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
