South Australian Derby 2020 Betting Odds
The locally-trained Dalasan heads the betting with Sportsbet as a $3.20 favourite for the Group One South Australian Derby on Saturday, May 9.
Prepared by the master Leon Macdonald & Andrew Gluyas combination, this son of Dalakhani has thrived since returning to Adelaide with back-to-back victories in the Port Adelaide Guineas before taking out the Group Three Chairman's Stakes, the main lead-up to this feature.
The talented Russian Camelot follows him at $4.20 in the early betting markets despite being scratched from Flemington on Anzac Day.
He'll arrive having not raced since winning a Pakenham Benchmark 64 to the tune of seven lengths on April 9 with a Flemington 800 metre jump-out on May 1 being his last piece of public work.
The 2019 Victoria Derby winner Warning ($4.80) and last start Frank Packer Plate winner Kinane ($5) round out the rest of the market elects for the 2020 South Australian Derby.
