South Australian Derby 2020 Barrier Draw

Early favourite Dalasan has drawn barrier nine for the Group One South Australian Derby at Morphettville this Saturday.

This son of Dalakhani has thrived since returning to Adelaide with back-to-back victories in the Port Adelaide Guineas before taking out the Group Three Chairman's Stakes, the main lead-up to this feature.

The 2019 Victoria Derby winner Warning has come up with barrier three for Saturday's three-year-old staying feature.

He's the proven stayer of the field (over this 2500 metre journey) and has the services of last Saturday's Australasian Oaks winning hoop Damien Thornton in the saddle.

Russian Camelot is another fancied runner that has seemingly drawn well, with this talented Danny O'Brien-trained colt having barrier seven to negotiate under John Allen in the South Australian Derby.
