Heading the market for the 2021 Moir Stakes is three-year-old Profiteer who is out to win to state his claim at stud, while The Inferno looks the danger in the market at $5 after winning the McEwen Stakes impressively last start.

The Sydney form will be brought to the fore with Wild Ruler after he ran second to Nature Strip last start, beating fellow Sydney-sider Trekking.

Many eyes will be on the beautiful chestnut Brooklyn Hustle as she looks to claim her first Group One win, likely to thunder down the outside.

2021 Moir Stakes Tips

Moir Stakes 2021 Best Bet - The Inferno

The ex-Singapore champ was average when ridden forward and not screwed down first-up, but simply lifted and went to another level second-up when comfortably winning the McEwen Stakes at this track and trip.

I did not think I would be finding The Inferno but he is one that is going to get a gun run off the speed from barrier five, likely sitting four pairs back, relishing what is expected to be a good clip in front.

With a similar turn of foot to last start, he might just be able to power over the top of the leaders and hold off the late chargers who will need some luck.

Moir Stakes 2021 Next Best Bet - Profiteer

Profiteer is the three-year-old in the event that everyone is talking about, just built for speed and nothing else.

He was impressive in his two wins last prep as a two-year-old, sustaining speed, while his defeat in the Todman was to superstar Anamoe and he was probably over the top in the Slipper.

The son of Capitalist arrives first-up and ready to win, aiming to claim a valuable Group One as a three-year-old to greatly enhance his stallion prospects.

Moir Stakes 2021 Value Bet - Brooklyn Hustle

She is a star mare and really does deserve a Group One, but that could well come in this race with a hot speed predicted and a recent trial which showcased her turn of foot under the belt.

Brooklyn Hustle managed to claim two races when last in work, a stakes race in Adelaide before winning well at Eagle Farm down the outside, a similar style as to what we might see from her here.

We know she loves Moonee Valley, and if she can get the right runs from the back of the field, she could well launch late and win.
