The daughter of Fastnet Rock took out the Group 1 Ranvet Stakes on Australian debut and she was then spelled after a runner-up finish behind a dominant Pride Of Jenni in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

Past winners of the Might And Power reads like a who’s who of Australian racing with Winx, So You Think, Lonhro, Northerly, Might And Power, Rough Habit, Naturalism, Bonecrusher and Kingston Town all taking out the event.
It’s one of the best form guides for future racing with horses going on from this race to typically compete in both the Cox Plate and Caulfield Cup.
First run and won in 1886 by Isonomy, the race is now a highly coveted event, with this Group 1 previously known as Yalumba Stakes from 1997-2010, with the race now known as the Might And Power, but still registered as the Caulfield Stakes.
