Think About It is one of the more exciting gallopers in Australia at present and under WFA conditions via the Kingsford-Smith Cup, the Joe Pride-trained four-year-old will face his biggest test to date.

The son of So You Think has quickly worked through the grades, winning seven from eights starts overall and that includes a terriic return win at Gosford where he covered ground, yet still proved too strong with topweight in the Takeover Target Stakes.

At $4 with Unibet Australia, he heads the betting for the 2023 Kingsford-Smith Cup, while Rothfire ($6) sits on the second line of betting.

A five-time stakes winner (one at Group 1 level) that has earned over $2 million in prize money, the Robert Heathcote-trained gelding returned to winning form with a second-up victory in the Group 2 Victory Stakes on April 29.

A Case Of You ($8) has found the line strongly in three Australian attempts and the extra 100m of the Kingsford-Smith Cup looks ideal for the five-year-old.

Now under the care of Mick Price & Michael Kent (Jnr), the import recorded Group 1 wins in the United Arab Emirates and France when prepared by Adrian McGuinness.

Godolphin entire Paulele is looking to add a second Group 1 to his resume, with the 2022 Winterbottom Stakes winner set to stand at stud this year.

He shares a $10 quote with Vilana and King Of Sparta.

Kingsford-Smith Cup Winners

The Kingsford Smith Cup was formerly known as the BTC Cup, with the race name changed in 2017.

In 2006, the race gained Group 1 status and from 1991 to 2016, this sprint was always over 1200m before the recent increase to 1300m.

The Bostonian (2019), Vega One (2021) and Apache Chase (2022) have won the last three editions of the Kingsford-Smith Cup, which was not contested in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
