A strong field is set to line-up for the 2021 Kingsford-Smith Cup over 1300m, where 2021 Canterbury Stakes winner and All-Aged Stakes runner-up Savatiano looks poised to pounce from barrier eight.

Goodwood third place getter Gytrash has drawn wide in 15, but we know has the class of a WFA Group One horse being an Everest place getter and a Group One winner.

Trekking did enough in the Doomben 10,000 to warrant a chance, although he will be hoping the rain stays away while Goodwood winner Savatoxl may slip under the radar of punters once again from barrier 14.

Three-year-old Dame Giselle adds some real interest to the event, coming in rather fresh and drawing nicely in six, with just 55kg on her back.

A total of 16 runners will take their place in Saturday's Kingsford-Smith Cup.
