At $1.20 with Betr, Ka Ying Rising is a short-priced market elect for the 2024 Hong Kong Sprint and the gelding couldn't have been more impressive on November 17 when setting a new 1200m track record at Sha Tin, where he ran slick time despite being looked after late under Zac Purton.

The son of Shamexpress is trained by David Hayes, who is searching for his second win in the Hong Kong Sprint and Zac Purton can become the most successful jockey in the history of this Group 1, with the champion hoop currently tied with Brett Prebble (both on three).

Ka Ying also heads the futures market for The Everest in 2025.

Lugal and Toshin Macau (both $13) share the second line of betting, and the Japanese pair filled the quinella of The Group 1 Sprinters Stakes on September 29.

Both gallopers have been freshened-up ahead of the Hong Kong Sprint.

$17 is available for Helios Express, California Spangle and Howdeepisyourlove, with that trio shading Satono Reve ($19) in the early market.
