Cylinder (barrier 3) is Godolphin's main contender for the 2023 Golden Slipper, with a Silver Slipper victory followed by a Todman win on March 4, which is traditionally one of the stronger form references for the Golden Slipper.
The son of Exceed And Excel has improved in his second campaign, after consecutive runner-up finishes to start his career last November.
James Cummings also prepares Blue Diamond Prelude winners Barber (barrier 8) and Exploring (barrier 9) for this two-year-old major.
Blue Diamond winner Little Brose (barrier 5) heads straight into the Golden Slipper following his feature Sandown victory on September 25.
Ben & JD Hayes have also accepted with Arkansaw Kid (barrier 13), who finished third in the Blue Diamond.
As was expected, Peter & Paul Snowden have a strong team for the 2023 Golden Slipper, with Don Corleone (barrier 6), King's Gambit (barrier ) and Empire Of Japan (barrier 2) all in the final field.
While King's Gambit hasn't saluted since his brilliant Debutant Stakes victory last October, he looms as the main chance from the Snowden yard, who opted to trial him on March 7 instead of contesting the Todman Stakes.
Learning To Fly (barrier 4) has arguably been the leading two-year-old of this current crop, with the daughter of Justify unbeaten from three starts.
The Annabel Neasham-trained filly has shown versatility, having sat on the speed at starts one and three, but forced back from a wide barrier in the Inglis Millenium on February 13, she was able to finish off powerfully.
Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott have dual representation via Red Resistance (barrier 17) and Platinum Jubilee (barrier 11), while Chris Waller has Shinzo (barrier 1), Lazzago (barrier 10) and Militarize (barrier 16), the latter being the first emeregency.
16 runners and one emergency make up the final field for the 2023 Golden Slipper.
