Gimcrack Stakes winner Coolangatta has been all the rage in the 2022 Golden Slipper betting following her impressive debut victory at Randwick.
The fillies two-year-old feature rated far superior to the boys in the Breeders' Plate, with the Gimcrack Stakes going around 7.5 lengths faster overall for the 1000m, and incredibly were home a little faster than that margin for the last 600m (33.17 vs 34.40).
TAB have reacted heavily to the Coolangatta win, where after being as long as $17 on September 30, the Maher & Eustace filly is now an outright $7 favourite for the March 19 two-year-old feature.
