Anamoe will be aiming for a ninth Group 1 victory in Saturday's George Ryder Stakes, with the Godolphin four-year-old arguably the headline act on a huge day of racing.

With comfortable victories in the Apollo Stakes and Chipping Norton Stakes to open his 2023 account, it's hard to argue with the $1.70 quote from BlueBet, especially staying at WFA level.

Fangirl ($6) has been runner-up to Anamoe in both outings this campaign, with connections opting against what seemed an easier Melbourne preparation in going from the CF Orr and Futurity en route to an All-Star Mile birth.

She narrowly shades Artorius, who broke a big drought in fine fashion when taking out the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes on March 4.

His prior victory was in the 2021 Blue Diamond Stakes, where he did defeat Anamoe.

At $8, Artorius shares the third line of betting with Osipenko, who was scratched from the Randwick Guineas on race morning and give how that three-year-old feature played out, it's hard to imagine him not winning that, especially third-up off a Hobartville Stakes triumph.

Caulfield Guineas winner Golden Mile ($11) has been a shade disappointing so far this campaign, although he still wasn't beaten far in the Canterbury Stakes second-up.
