As mentioned with Autumn Glow, it was probably a softer win in the Tea Rose than the margin reflects, however, Snow In May can improve up to 1600m third-up.

You always have to respect John Sargent with a youngster once they get over ground and in an open futures market, Powers Of Opal currently heads the VRC Oaks betting.

The filly is by Ocean Park and out Strada Cavallo, who placed in the 2016 New Zealand Oaks and Sofia Rosa (Australian Oaks winner) lost that staying feature on protest.

Powers Of Opal is building into her second campaign nicely and she's completed a tick-over trial following her slashing second-up performance at Midway level.
