Zaaki (barrier three) won last year's Doomben Cup by a whopping seven lengths and follows the same Hollindale Stakes pattern in 2022, arriving off a feature Gold Coast win over 1800m.

Arguably Australia's best WFA galloper, the Annabel Neasham-trained import is now aiming for a fourth Group One victory to go along with his All-Star Mile triumph.

Chris Waller prepares four of the 10 Doomben Cup acceptances, with Kolding (barrier one), Kukeracha (barrier eight), Great House (barrier nine) and mudlark Polly Grey (barrier seven) among the final field.

Huetor (barrier five) now gets to 2000m third-up following a fourth to Zaaki in the Hollindale Stakes.

The Snowden-trained gelding won his second and third Australian starts over this distance when completing a hat-trick in December.

Maximal (barrier two) gets the services of Nash Rawiller for this first-up assignment following two strong trials.

The three-quarter brother to unbeaten champion Frankel has been well held in both outings this year.

Doomben Cup Winners

Will we see a new Doomben Cup champion or will Zaaki prove too hard to hold out once again?
