After an unlucky 2022/2023 period, where she ran into Anamoe on numerous occasions, Fangirl cashed in last campaign, with the five-year-old recording two Group 1 wins.

The last of those triumphs was over the 1600m at Randwick when she bolted in with the King Charles III Stakes and Mr Brightside was well held in second via that October 14 feature.
Although she won't want a wet autumn, four of her seven wins have at Randwick and while she was a little unlucky in the Cox Plate, keeping her in the 1400m-1600m range does suit.
At $7.50 with bet365, Fangirl shares favouritism with Voyage Bubble and Think About It, with the latter being a versatile galloper who is coming off a sprinting prep.
Although he was successful when taking out The Everest, the son of So You Think has always given the impression that he'll thrive over middle distances and his breeding does support that.
Having won more than $11 million in prize money to date and with a record of 11 wins and two-thirds from 13 career starts, Think About It is one of the best gallopers in Australia and being somewhat lightly raced for a five-year-old, he could still have improvement to come.
Last year's Hong Kong Derby winner Voyage Bubble kicked off 2024 with a victory and an overseas trip is on the agenda, with the Doncaster Mile being one of the main options.

Doncaster Mile Winners
The Doncaster Mile is one of Sydney's most famous races and the pinnacle of The Championships day one.
Also known as the Doncaster Handicap, the Mile was previously held every Easter Monday, but was moved to be one of the showpiece events of the Championships, the grand final of autumn racing in Sydney.
The George Ryder Stakes is traditionally the key lead-up event for the Doncaster Mile, with the Ranvet Stakes, Randwick Guineas and All-Star Mile also among the main form races.
Cascadian (2021) and Mr Brightside (2022 and 2023) have won the last three editions of the Doncaster Mile.
