Six-time Group One winner Verry Elleegant has drawn barrier four in her second-up assignment via the 2021 Chipping Norton Stakes.

Arguably the best middle-distance runner in the country, she was sound for third on return in the Apollo Stakes albeit safely held by the talented Godolphin mare Colette who will jump from barrier eight.

Following a 2020 autumn campaign which culminated in victory via the Group ATC Oaks, the daughter of Hallowed Crown finished another preparation in style by taking the 2020 Golden Eagle and is unbeaten on soft/heavy tracks.

Kolding (barrier two), who was beaten two lengths into second in the Apollo Stakes, has a terrific record over the Randwick mile with feature victories over this track and trip in the Epsom Handicap and Golden Eagle (both 2019) along with the 2020 George Main Stakes last spring.

Avilius (barrier seven), Southern France (barrier three) and Master Of Wine (barrier nine) have all accepted to make their return in the 2021 Chipping Norton Stakes.
