The dominant Sires' Produce Stakes winner Anamoe won't participate in the 2021 Champagne Stakes, now making it a much more open contest for punters.

Heading the market at $3.50 with bet365 is Hilal, who ran home as the eventual runner-up in that 1400m feature on April 10.

Although now deep into his first racing preparation, the son of Fastnet Rock has had excuses following a debut win in February, drawing wide gates at his last two attempts.

Captivant ($4) looked to be crying out for 1600m following a fifth-place finish in the Golden Slipper and via his latest, finished third in that Sires' Produce Stakes.

Aside from not winning that last Group One, his profile isn't dissimilar to that of King's Legacy last year, who also was prepared by Peter & Paul Snowden.

Converge ($6) comes into calculations following victory in last Saturday's Fernhill Stakes, which also over the mile.

Sharing an $11 quote for the 2021 Champagne Stakes is Gin Martini and Queen Of Wizardry.
