Two of the early fancies in the Champagne Stakes early betting were Captivant (barrier one) and Hilal (barrier four) who have both drawn well for Saturday's two-year-old feature from Royal Randwick.
Bjorn Baker has accepted with last Saturday's Fernhill Stakes placegetter's Maurice's Medad (barrier two) and Akahata (barrier 12) along with Wolfburn (barrier five) who arrives off a runner-up finish in a Provincial Maiden.
The Fernhill Stakes winner Converge (barrier three) is the sole 1600m winner in the final field while Arnaqueur (barrier six) is another runner on the seven day back-up from that April 17 contest.
A total of 14 runners make up the final field for the 2021 Champagne Stakes.
