The 2021 CF Orr Stakes will be run at Group One level over 1400m at WFA level, where we will see many Autumn stars kick off their Group One preparations.
Three-year-olds have a great record in the race, so Crosshaven looks well suited first-up while Sir Dragonet was the Cox Plate winner last spring.

2021 CF Orr Stakes Tips
CF Orr Stakes 2021 Best Bet - Crosshaven
He gets a weight advantage on the rest of the field and the fact that the three-year-old's have such a great record in the race is also another big tick.
Crosshaven came on in leaps and bounds last preparation, kicking off with a sixth placing in the McNeil Stakes before winning the Carbine Club at the end of the prep.
The future looks promising for this gelding while the recent trial indicated that he is very forward and ready tackle this Group One first-up.
CF Orr Stakes Next Best Bet - Imaging
This Waller-trained gelding has a great fresh record and would arguably be favourite here had he won first-up last prep (which he should have) in the Missile Stakes, which was over an unsuitable trip.
He is now a consistent Group One performer, finishing a luckless fourth in the Winx Stakes before a terrific third in George Ryder, both at weight-for-age level.
Fresh is when I want to be with him, so coming into this race and sclearly one of the 'quality' horses, he must go in as a leading chance,
CF Orr Stakes Value Bet - Sovereign Award
This mare really impressed me last preparation, going from strength to strength and ticking all the boxes.
Although this is very much her stiffest task to date, Sovereign Award was very encouraging in a trial at Geelong behind the smart Ancestry, so she does look to have returned in good order.
She hasn't finished outside the top two first-up and is unbeaten at Stakes level, so after what was a high class last prep, deserves a crack at the big races this time in, starting here.
