Off an excellent trial win at Geelong on January 28, Sir Dragonet was installed as the early market elect for Saturday's C.F. Orr Stakes where he has drawn barrier three for Glen Boss.

He's currently the $2.80 favourite with bookmaker.com.au for the February 6 feature from Caulfield.

The Maher & Eustace-trained import won the 2020 Cox Plate on his Australian debut back in the spring before a sixth-place finish in the Melbourne Cup.

Crosshaven is the sole three-year-old in the the final field and he will jump from gate four for the first Group One of the calendar year.

With five wins frome seven starts to date, this son of Smart Missile has been a model of consistency and was a strong winner in the 2020 Caulfield Guineas prelude, his one attempt over the seven furlongs on this circuit.

Fifty Stars (barrier six) caught the eye late behind Sir Dragonet at the trials ahead of this Summer resumption and the six-year-old has drawn barrier six.

Four-time Group One winning veteran Humidor is also in the final field and he'll jump from barrier 10 under Damian Lane.

He has tasted Group One success over the 1400m at Caulfield with victory in the 2018 Memsie Stakes.

A total of 10 runners make-up the final field for the 2021 C.F Orr Stakes
