Blue Diamond Preview (F) 2021 Betting Tips, Preview & Odds

The Blue Diamond Preview (F) will be run over 1000m at Group Three level, where we see two star Fillies go head-to-head for arguably a top three spot in the Blue Diamond betting.

Dosh was a Group Three winner first-up on Oaks day, while Frost Flowers produced a big rating down the Flemington straight on New Years day.

The latter is a half-sister to 2020 Blue Diamond runner-up Hanseatic.

This filly is a half-sister to 2020 Blue Diamond runner-up Hanseatic, owned by Godolphin and also trained by the Freedman barn.

She caught the eye on debut when winning down the straight on New Years Day, untouched with Jamie Kah in the saddle when on the speed.

She has again drawn to effect, either to sit outside the leader or to get the perch just behind the two leaders from gate three.

Frost Flowers looks the more professional of the two favourites so happy to be playing her way in this race.

Dosh looks the clear danger on paper, having won on debut down the straight by the barest of margins, but she would have won by three lengths had she not run off the track.

She was very green in that race but does draw the fence which will be beneficial as she will have the rail to follow.

Of the two fillies at the top of the market, this girl could be easily the best of them, but until we can trust that she will not run across the track under pressure, she's the second-elect for now.

What Dosh does have is a will to win and a lot of class, again showing that when finishing second in a recent jumpout behind Extreme Warrior who is a live chance in a Blue Diamond.

If there is a first starter in the race that can beat the two proven fillies, it is certainly this one who really impressed me when second in an official trial behind Blue Diamond favourite Enthaar.

Out of the Group Oneplaced mare Curtana, Viviane is already showing signs of her mother with some nice acceleration when given just a little bit of reign.

She was no match for Enthaar, but I don't see any two-year-olds beating her if she can win first-up, so that enhances the trial for this two-year-old even more.

Damian Lane takes the ride who also rode her in the trial, so expecting a bold performance from this well bred juvenile.
